Moving on…

Anthony and I have decided to sell our beautiful home. It is sort of sad and exciting at the same time. It is probably a stupid time to sell, but we figure that we would rather do what is important to us, rather than sit on a house and wait for the light rail to be finished.

An interesting phenomenon that we are currently experiencing with the sale of our house is moving company telemarketers. I have been called several times at work about getting moving quotes. How in the world are they getting this information? I know that they can find our address on MLS sites, but how are they getting my personal phone number?

That Darn Kathy

So, I really like Kathy Griffin. She cracks me up! Her latest media stint with the Emmy’s is great! People are so crazy to be all offended over her comments. One would think that they would realize that she says stuff like this to get a reaction. She is a comedian, after all. People like Bill Donohue are so ridiculous… he makes these situations way worse than they are. I love the fact that he, on CNN, was screaming that Hollywood hates catholicism. Well, I guess Hollywood is made up of gays and Jewish people, so maybe he isn’t too far off. =)

Espresso

So, I have become addicted to espresso. I thought this would never happen. Then, we go to Italy and I have yummy espresso every morning (cause it was complimentary with our housing). Now, six months later, I am having an espresso almost every day! The funny thing is, I don’t feel any more alert when I drink it than when I don’t drink it.

I will say this, I don’t drink plain coffee. That still grosses me out. It doesn’t taste like espresso to me… more like bitter water.

So Sad

A guy was kidnapped, taken into a rural part of Iowa and de-robed. The kidnappers left the guy naked… in the middle of nowhere. That is so mean! If the guy was a jerk, perhaps it would be kind of funny… but that is so humiliating. Hope that never happens to me!

On a separate note, I am performing with the Seattle Central Jazz Orchestra tonight… I have this horrible feeling it is not going to be that great.
